Our second film, covers many aspects of the Tsavo Trust’s Big Tusker Project. Most of this film has been completed, with some wonderful scenes showing a healthy population coming on behind the great tuskers. Every sixty year old elephant began life as a tiny 240lb baby, protected and nurtured by its family.
The balance between elephant behavior footage, a conversation with an old poacher who spent his past life killing elephants and the necessary protection activities required to protect these iconic elephants makes a balanced and realistic story for the film.
The film will be narrated in local languages and shown to people around the Tsavo National Parks and the rest of the country.
